We're all massive fans of The Twelve's here at NslL, waiting for the day when they play in North America. They have yet to perform outside of Brazil, let alone South America, but they inevitably will. Here's a new track of theirs, not the best quality as it's a myspace rip, but worth adding to the collection.
So aside from posting my current favourite tracks, mixes, videos, etc., I want to use this blog as a forum to distribute my own music. I'm currently working on a few tracks that aren't quite finished yet but I do have a mashup that I've made available for download below. It's a mix of Erol Alkan's remix of the Klaxon's Golden Skans, an extended light and spacey track laid over Felix Cartal's L'amour. The result a blazing vocal mashup that's heavy and driving all the way through. Please comment with your thoughts on the track.
DesignerDrugs were featured in a mix I posted a week ago on the blog. They do a good job at remixing pop tracks, adding thick, heavy basslines over the original vocals, consistently delivering quality club tracks. I've posted a handful of tracks in an effort to promote their North American tour. I'll be at the show in NYC so I hope to see you there.
