Special Mix

Today I have a very special mix for everyone. I've been working for the last few weeks on a promotional set, something to help me leverage gigs spinning in New York City. The full mix will be around an hour in length but I'm only going to the post the first 30 minutes of music. It is essentially a 25 minute crescendo of dark, rhythmic tech house building to the first drop; a track, marked by its acapella elucidating the visceral qualities of house music, by Brothers Vibe. Enjoy.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about every once in a while.
